Although some of my plugins are payware, many are freeware, so you are free to use them at no cost. However, there is a cost associated with creating and making these plugins available to you. It costs me for web hosting and the upgrades required for the increased bandwidth as more people download them. Many of my plugins contain 3rd party modules, some of which are payware, and there are other costs such as graphics software and host software for testing.
You can contribute to supporting the ongoing available freeware in 2 ways. You could purchase one of the payware plugins or make a donation. If the amount you intended to donate is more than the price of the payware, then I'd really prefer that you bought the payware. That way, you also get a new plugin for your money.
