Strip T's is a channel strip plugin, designed to be as straight-forward to use as possible but with a wide range of sonic sculpting possibilities. It has a gate, low-cut filter, 3 band EQ, soft-knee compressor and soft/hard clipper, plus metering and a full stereo audio path.

Strip T’s brings together the knowledge and experience from developing individual effect plugins like the QB-3 EQ, sixtyfive compressor and ClipStar soft clipper. By combining the core parts of these effects, a significant amount of CPU is saved compared to running these plugins individually.

Each stage can be turned off when not needed to save further CPU, and a mono version is also available which is even more efficient.

Download demo VST (10.4 MB) - This zip contains two demo version of Strip T's (normal and non-sidechain) to allow you to fully evaluate it before purchasing. It is fully functioning but you will get 1 second of silence every 20 seconds.

The demo VST is the best way to test the capabilities of Strip T's, however below are some audio demos to give you a taste of what it can do
The audio demos are purely Strip T's, no other effects or processing are used. Each demo is a comparison, with the dry audio first, followed by the same audio with Strip T's applied

Guitar strum - noise removed, equalized and levels gently compressed
Orange Drums - acoustic drums given a dirty, boomy, boost [thanks to The Control Centre for the drum loop]
DnB Drums - beats given more power so the bass kicks hard in a busy mix, then gated
Vocal take - gated to remove breathing noises, levels boosted





Strip T's was developed using the latest version of SynthEdit, SE 1.1
Plug-ins developed with this version of SynthEdit have no problems at all with multiple instances on multi-core processors. This problem is only related to plugins developed with SE 1.0



The presets demonstrate the possibilities of Strip T's, from subtle to adventurous. These presets can sound totally different depending on the source material and may not have any effect or could distort depending on the level of the material that you try it on. The settings will almost always need to be adjusted to the volume, spectrum and dynamic range of the audio you are running through it. So the presets are a demonstration and a starting point, but you should expect to tweak each one if you want to get the best out of Strip T's.



Strip T's has been tested and works in Cubase 4.5.2, Sonar 8.5.1.17 LE, Ableton Live Lite 8.2.2, FL Studio 10.0, Reaper 3.75, Renoise 2.6, energyXT 2.5.4, energyXT 1.4 and Podium 2.41

You should however always test the demo versions in your choice of hosts/system before purchase
