Stereo to Dual Mono is a special purpose plugin for use in eXT2 as an adapter from stereo pins to dual mono pins. It is intended for use only in eXT2 to connect stereo path signals to the external sidechain versions of de la Mancha compressor plugins, GTO, GTX, GTS, sidearm and bathtub. The external sidechain versions of these compressors have dual mono inputs and so S2DM converts the single stereo pin into 4 dual mono outputs (2 identical pairs). It is not required for the 'internal sidechain only' versions of these plugins as they have single stereo input pin.

Note that you should use the compressor and S2DM plugin in modular view in eXT2, as per the diagram below
