PULS is a monophonic pulse wave synthesizer with simple controls but complex sounds. From 2 pulse wave oscillators you can get chunky basses, scorching leads, retro chiptune, dusty lofi and oddball noises. PULS is a simplified and limited version of bassbomb, using the same core sound modules but without many of the options. Even so, what it lacks in knobs, it makes up for in sound.

It features custom pulse waveforms, unison, oscillator sync and ring modulation for some big n dirty sound potential, with a tempo-sync LFO for pulse width modulation (PWM) as well as detune and volume modulation.

There is no demo version of PULS but you can test compatibility by trying the demo of bassbomb from which PULS is derived.

You can also listen to some audio demos to get a feel of what PULS can do. The demos are a straight playback of a single instance of PULS. No other plugins, effects, editing, automation or trickery is used.

PULS v1.1 was updated using the latest version of SynthEdit, SE 1.1
Plug-ins developed with this version of SynthEdit have no problems at all with multiple instances on multi-core processors. This problem is only related to plugins developed with SE 1.0



PULS has been tested and works in Cubase 4.5.2, Sonar 8.5 LE, Ableton Live Lite 8.1.3, FL Studio 9.1, Reaper 3.6, Renoise 2.5, energyXT 2.5.2, energyXT 1.4 and Podium 2.30
